Risk disclosure

Last updated · July 2026
Cryptoasset risk warning

Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong.

1. Regulatory status

Vaulted is a product being built by Phoenix-Atlas Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17432346).

Vaulted is not currently authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”). None of the services described on this website — cross-border money remittance, cryptoasset custody, cryptoasset exchange, or fiat on-ramp / off-ramp — are being offered to customers at this time.

Vaulted intends to seek authorization under one or more of:

Until authorization is granted, Vaulted operates in waitlist / preview mode. Any “send” or transfer functionality visible in the preview app is for demonstration purposes only and does not settle real value to a recipient.

2. What Vaulted is not

3. Cryptoasset risks

Cryptoassets (including Bitcoin, Ether, USDC, Solana, Stellar Lumens, and XRP) are high-risk, speculative assets. If you choose to use the preview app with real cryptoassets you should understand that:

4. Cross-border remittance

The remittance flows visible on the marketing site (Kenya, Nigeria, India, Philippines, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Mexico) are planned corridors. Amounts and fees shown are illustrative examples, not live quotes, and do not represent an offer to execute a transfer.

Live remittance services will only be enabled once:

  1. Applicable UK regulatory authorization is in place;
  2. Third-party off-ramp partners (M-Pesa aggregators, mobile-money processors, local bank rails) are integrated and have completed their own KYB approval; and
  3. Users have completed KYC / identity verification under our accepted programme.

5. The preview app

Vaulted’s preview app at app.phoenix-atlas.com is provided for demonstration and testing only. Do not deposit funds you cannot afford to lose. Any Stripe test-mode charges, ETH broadcasts on Sepolia, or mobile-money simulations you see are engineering test artefacts, not customer-facing services.

Vaulted may — without prior notice — reset test data, take the preview app offline, or change functionality at any time while in build.

6. Data protection

Phoenix-Atlas Technologies Ltd complies with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See our privacy policy for detail on data collection, retention, and your rights (including access, rectification, erasure, and objection).

7. Complaints

If you have a concern or complaint about Vaulted, please contact us at support@phoenix-atlas.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to respond substantively within 20 working days.

Because Vaulted is not currently FCA-authorized, the Financial Ombudsman Service is not available for disputes at this time. This will change once authorization is in place.

8. Changes to this disclosure

We will update this disclosure as Vaulted’s regulatory status changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to users on the waitlist by email.

Questions? Email hello@phoenix-atlas.com. We’re happy to talk about Vaulted’s roadmap and regulatory plan.
